We've discovered this place around 12 years ago and it was love from first sight. From here you get breathtaking views of Butuceni village and Raut river canyon. We've been hiding this gem for a while and finaly are ready to share it with you.

Within a relatively small area called Orhei Vechi you can explore cave monastery, remainings of ancient Turkish baths and tatar's fortress, feel part of typical moldavian lifestale of 19th century and taste national cuisine. Gustar and DescOpera outdoor musical festivals are hosted nearby.

Our territory is about 2.5 acres and its open for tents and RVs/Caravans. We supply electricity, water, complimentary Wi-Fi, show you were rest room and summer shower are.
Exploer our observation deck during the day and enjoy cozy evening at the fireplace. Grill is available on demand.
Camping Plan
1. Crama lui Vasile - with kitchen, dining room, shower, fireplace. Access subject to owner availability on site. Observation deck on top.
2. Dining table, hosts up to 12 people comfortably, grill
3. Outdoor fireplace for cozy evenings
4. Our "scene", "dance floor" or metal frame above ground pool (depending on time of the year / occasion)
5. Summer shower to get refreshed on a hot day
6. Options for gray water. As of now we suggest using WC for black water drainage and we'll show you best place to drain gray water tanks.
Camping Bacota - is a runaway from city pace and problems. It's a quiet and peaceful area. Explore nearby nature during the day, enjoy a swing chair and admire the night sky full of stars. You can see rare plants and even some rare animals if you are lucky: blue head lizards, badgers, garden dormouse, foxes, quails, eagles and others. It’s hard to get a good camera shot with them, but we’ll share a few photos with you :).
Our guests visit us to unite with nature, experience campfire evening, enjoy beautiful views and our place is a bad fit for large loud groups that love disco and karaoke.
When planning your weekend, please decide whether we are a good fit for you, so that time spent on our camping will both bring you joy and won't disturb other guests.
Unfortunately, we do not yet have specially equipped playgrounds for children and right now we have pretty limited set of activities for them. Please consider this factor when planning a stay at Bacota. We are working on this and hope to share an update in the future.
Costs
We offer place to park and set up a tent. Access to water (to refill your tanks and take a summer shower) and electricity is included in the price. You also get complimentary Wi-Fi, we can use the refrigerator, microwave

We ask for 10Eur per person per night and 1-2 Eur per vehicle.
